Stupid, newbie , bf Goodrich white letters out or in?

They will look worn in a short time.
You can make an old black tire look pretty good, not lettering.

Just looking for opinions, I’m not sure yet. Worried about maintaining the white out look though.

 

I purchased my truck with stock tires white lettering in.. I wish they were out.

 

I was thinking 3/1 just to mess with ocd types lol

 

And I bet most here don't know where the dots on the tire go, just the letters.

 

Black wall out....less is more!

I've done both, I think it depends on the wheel and color of the truck.

Out. If you wash your tires when you wash your truck, keeping the letters white isn't difficult.

 

Super easy to fix: get a can of liquid tire buffer from your local auto parts store, use a microfiber rag to wipe down the letters, and enjoy your sexy white letters. Shouldn't take more than about 5 minutes for all 4. The white is generally all the way down to the outer layers (or no less than a few mm thick on any tire I've seen) so you can basically polish the top layer every couple months to keep them looking good.

 

Last time I did them out was on my 2008, like them in on the 3rd Gen.
