Stupid question about AC control "backlight"...

    Hi all, newbie issue here, but bear with me please:

    I just installed a new headunit in my '15 DC and put everything back together. Started it up, and it seems unnaturally dark in the cab! Are the AC dials (fan, temp, & vent selector) supposed to be backlit? I can't remember!!! The LEDs on the buttons are lit however.

    Thanks for the response! Can you (or anyone else) confirm it on a 2015? I've got mixed answers from a bunch of people and it looks like some years have lit and some don't :)

    Did my you unplug the HVAC control while installing new head unit? Bet something was not plugged back in.

    My 2009 hvac contral has two plugs on the back, if I unplug one, I lose illumination

    Thanks for the replies all - had a second look, and the little clip wasn't pushed in all the way. I feel dumb, but it's working now!
