stupid rain.

    FlowMaster 40 duals out the back, T-Rex grill, Color matched TRD Nerf bars, Icon coilovers set at 2'', 2.75" OME Dakars spring packs, OME Nitro-Charger extended rear shocks, Carrier bearing drop kit, Wheeler's Extended break Lines, Total Chaos UCAs, Mojave Teflons and 31 1/2" Toyo Open Country A/Ts, Pioneer single din unit, Yakima roof rack, Malone roof basket with X2 KC 130w long range Slimmlights mounted to it, Garmin 255w nav, Fire bottle mod, Air Force standard First Aid kit mod, Hidden Muchette mod (don't ask), and 1 huge OCD about my truck.
    Is it just me or does this happen to other 05+ owners. Weather it's raining or just moisture in the morning, if there is any water on the truck as soon as you open the window, it drips right into your door controls. Even if you only have it cracked a little bit. I hate the add on window shrouds or what ever you want to call them, but when ever I smoke, open the window for anything. DRIP! Right into my window or door lock buttons. Happens on the passenger side too. Thats probably the only thing so far I have found that I don't like about my truck.

    Since my wrestling coach in 10th grade caught me with a massive dip of Kodiak in and made me swallow it, I can't even smell the stuff with out getting sick. And even though smoking is going to kill me, if I stop I will die.:D

    Same here on my 05, two things I could say to do without being a smart butt, stop smoking or get yourself some vent visors.
    I have EGR slim lines on mine but if you do a search or some people may post here on the types they have on.

    This annoys me too. I leave my arm on the door sill forward enough for the water to drip on my sweatshirt instead of the controls. Another thing i'll do, if it's not pouring cats & dogs, i'll use my sweat shirt sleeve and wipe around the top of the door. that seems to help too

    i used to have this issue too...i got the vent visors...

    it happens in my patrol car too...but not because im smoking...i just sometimes prefer open windows...i can hear and see better with them down...and my door panel gets soaked...so i keep a towel handy and just throw that over the controls while the window is open
