I just realized I made a stupid mistake with my Tacoma. I then recalled the thread during the last few months of the guy that reversed the terminals while installing a new battery.

It's Friday so I figured we could have a confession if you will. I'll start...
After completely installing my Decked system, I realized I left my bed tie-downs in the bed-side storage compartment........

Anyone else feel like confessing for some laughs?

About 10 years ago doing a regular oil change in the garage, started to fill it up after a drain and after a few quarts realized I didn’t put the drain plug back

Looks like you took the idea of a “cold air” intake to the next level lmfao.

My first car, which was in '88 was a '84 Fiero. It was an awesome car until the recall for the engine catching on fire. It was a piece of crap after that. Even got a new engine using the lemon law and it was still a piece of crap.

Was drilling the air box out a big thing or something?

I use galvenized pipe like you'd use for a small chimney to make an intake tube for my 2001 S10 2wd, 4 banger MT (You have to tell everyone you have a MT if you have a MT)

When I was 17 I put a fiberglass hood on my 510 Datsun. Took it for a test drive and realized I never put the hood pins in. The hood caught air and hit my windshield then broke off and flew up into the air. Luckily it was dark out and no traffic. So I was able to grab my hood from the road and get it back home.
I was also in the habit of forgetting that I had tools in the engine compartment. So I would go for a test drive and then realize that I am now missing a socket.
I don't do any of that stuff anymore.

Man, I've done some stupid shit, didn't know that was a thing. Seems like a good way to suck in all that hot air in the engine bay

Once when doing my mom a favor by changing the oil in her Toyota Paseo I drained the AT fluid by mistake. Didn't realize it until after I'd added the 4 new quarts of oil to the engine and fired it up only to notice it was running really odd... and it wouldn't move.
