Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for an aftermarket "Tall" shifter knob, specifically, for a 3rd GEN 2020 Sport. I am not mechanically inclined to fabricate

one but I am a die hard GearJammer and this is the look I want so I'm hoping there's some secret squirrel factory that makes these things for Tacomas. Any and all comments welcome. Thanks.

Paging @su.brat and @7r41lbr34k3r . Not that @su.brat 's is that tall, but he did work with @7r41lbr34k3r to get an extension.

On my side, I worked with @7r41lbr34k3r to get the lowest, lightest possible. Rick is the man!

And if your game for the action, Rick can also help you shift beers.

Might want to couple this with a short shifter. I ran a 6" extension on my Subaru and the throw was so far you almost hit your fist on the dash when shifting into 1st, 3rd and 5th.

this is my current setup, it's not the one Rick made for me. this is a Core shifter with their Hurst arm, and a homemade extension made from a cut threaded rod, a coupling nut, and a few regular nuts. that, along with the golf ball and the bits i used to make it into a knob cost me probably under $10. but i actually did it for the feel, it gets the knob slightly above armrest height, and still keeps the shift throws manageable. it's spot-on perfect for me and after going through many, this is the final keeper.

i have a Raceseng brand 75mm extension available, but not sure it's tall enough for you, which is why i made my own. OP, do you plan to use a short shift kit or new shifter with it? if not your throws will probably be too long.
