Off topic, but the worst oil filter location I've ever dealt with was on an early 2000 model Saturn sedan. That filter is almost on the back side of the engine. You have to crawl up underneath the car, and then reach up around all kinds of crap to get at it. There's no controlling that mess either, you're going to get oil all over the place, and there's not much you can do about it.

Ever done a newer Suzuki Grand Vitara? You need hands the size of 5year old to reach it.

Yes the auto hobby shop here is quite nice. They have 2 new lifts here now too.

Update on the squeak, its gone now. Sprayed some Brake Clean Electa-Motive on the AC compressor clutch and ran it for a few minutes and the squeak went away.

Nelson, lol I've heard about that...and I bet this is gonna go into the thread of shame section too..lol which is ok because I was stupid! I know the truck ain't stupid, lol I was on a rant when I first wrote about this...not ranting anymore!

When I did the oil change, it was the first one done since I got it from the dealer. I ran an engine flush thru according to the directions on the can before draining and I ran some 3M fuel system cleaner thru the gas. It runs smoother and quieter and has quicker throttle response as well! I'm impressed with the 3M stuff.
