Stupid Tsb question

question- just to make sure this is only for the 4x4 and prerunner models right?

Pretty sure yes....you can find the TSB and read it for yourself....Just search....

 

05-08 Tacoma Prerunner, 4x4's. TRD's get springs only, non TRD Prerunner and 4x4's get upgraded springs and a set of TRD bilstein shocks.
09's have been done, like mine, and it seems a few 2010's are being done as well.

 

You mean, they STILL haven't fixed this with the 2010?? Wow...

Supposedly yes, a change has been made to a revised 3 leaf pack that were installed during '09 production. I have hauled a couple of yards(1 yard at a time of course) of watered down beauty bark without issue. Would I prefer to have the four leaf pack-yes, but I just don't have the energy to push for it. I might ask the service dept. the next time I'm in.
