Glad someone was listening. I'd buy you a beer if you lived closer.

i grew up around audio visual my dad used to own a 2wd 82 slammed and the he was well known in the competition bass crowd he used to tune his amps subs highs mids and lows with a cd called tubular bells, i know it sounds gay but at well over 50,000 watts in the bed of the truck you could hear it crisp and clean for blocks no distortion whatsoever, there are tutorials on how to tune your system all over youtube

I have a test disc I produce that I designed to help you tune a system. It's a group of 50 short tracks (ordered by category) that will really help you set your system right and diagnose issues. Plus, there's cool music on it you might actually LIKE!

I just finished version 2.0 over the weekend :D

You have odd tastes, so that is a tough call on liking it or not...

    Need disc anyways...

I try to keep the odd music in the "unique" section of the disc. Everything else is hard not to like it sounds so good.

Shoot me an email at Steven@StereoClarity.com if you want a copy. I don't "sell" them because I didn't record any of the tracks or own the rights to them and it would be both illegal and unethical for me to do so. However, if you need a copy mailed to you I'd appreciate you covering the postage. I've personally cut the majority of the tracks and have written commentary on each to help you understand what to listen for.

8 ga is overkill unless you are going over a huge distance, or pushing way way more power than you are. 12ga is probably a little big, but will be more than enough.

    Go here: http://bcae1.com/

Scroll on the right side down to # 16
Scroll down to the first "picture"/editable calculator, and find out what you need.

I use 16gauge at the house for a 1000watt Dayton SA1000 at home. It's plenty for what you're doing. If I recall we're only working with about 250RMS here so pretty much anything will work.
