Its really not that hard. You will have to run a wire from the battery to the amp. Go buy a amp wiring kit. You then have to tap into the remote turn on led from the alpine radio. The wire will be blue. The other ends goes into the remote turn on the amp. You will also have to run RCA cables from the back of the alpine radio to the amplifier. Last 2 things you need is run speaker wires from amp to the subs, and finding a ground for your amp. PM me if you need more help. I will walk you through it.

The diagram I drew is pretty generic. Don't forget to put in a fuse between the AMP and the battery. For the amp ground, You can use any part of the car frame for the ground. There should be plenty of grounds under the seat or behind the rear seats.

Also when you run the amp wires. You have to go through the firewall and then run it under the carpet to where you mount the amp. Also make sure you route the RCA cables under the carpet too along with the remote turn on lead. Other then that its self explanatory.

are you leaving the powered sub in along with the new one or upgrading it?

If you are upgrading then the wires should be plug and play. My only concern would be to run a bigger power wire for the amp. The amps on powered subs are pretty small and don't require a big power wire.

Depends on how they did the install. If they used RCA inputs then All the wires you need will be there. If they tap off of your rear speakers then you will have to run some RCA wires.
