sub in 04 dubl cab???

    has any one installed subs or a sub in a gen 1 dbl cab. i dont mean just putting the bow on the rear seat. like under the front seats? or some how behind the rear seat?

    yes there are plenty that have figured it out alot trim the bar that goea across our back wall and they can fit 10s in shallow boxes they put out good sound and its relatively easy once you get all the measurements righ t

    Anything behind the rear seat is a shallow mount. There are two companies that make a box for it. One is a single 10" box and the other is dual 8". In both cases, you have to take off the plastic on the back of the rear seat. Other option is to get a slim powered sub and put it under one of the front seats. Several people have bought Boss audio powered subs, but they seem to fail after a couple months. There are other options such as Sound Ordnance offered through Crutchfield, but its more expensive, but still affordable. It all depends on how much you want to spend.
