I'm very interested in the 3rd Gen pipe, just need the finances to settle a bit. Glad to see the performance feedback from the test mule.

Pricing is going to be similar to 2nd gen. 1250 for Y, plan for 250 for mid (it’s substantially more material than the 2nd mid) And I’ll probably even keep the Cerakote at 150 for a while. I believe shipping has been averaging around 30$ for most orders.

Is there somewhere I can see this or is it still under production ? I have been looking at the URD Y pipe and cat back on the URD website . I am trying to decide if I should wait on the spec u or just order the mark 2 with the urd cat back.

The first one is out in the wild being tested with great results. You can see his opinion in a post a page or two back. These are built with the highest quality stainless components available.

Thanks for the information . Looks good enough to put on display. So I can assume it would be worth waiting for then ? Is there significant difference in them?

In comparison to a non equal length, there really isn’t a comparison. Both the 2nd and 3rd gen have experienced very similar results in drive ability and performance.

Is it going to give you 50hp and rip your face off? No. But it’s absolutely going to help where the 3rd gen needs help the most.

Once again thanks for the information. I assume URD will offer this as a complete kit ?Sorry to sound ignorant. I read a lot of this thread but must have missed some of it. I was just about to order the mark 2 Y and urd cat back.

Sub-Zero fabrication offers the equal length Y and midpipe as a fully bolt on deal.

Sub-Zero will also be releasing full exhaust systems to work with this Y in 2.5 or 3”. None of which is offered by URD. In fact, there is no true 3” system on the market.

Paired with the midpipe it will bolt directly to your OEM or aftermarket bolt on exhaust.

I am a definite for the pipe with cerakote to mate up with factory cat back. As for questions on the URD pipe, I have it and am not overly pleased with it, makes the exhaust sound very raspy. I added sealant to every clamp point to make sure it wasn't leaking and still sounded the same. It did set off an engine light for bank 1 cat at one point but I put a spacer in and didn't have that happen again. Also, no matter how tight the clamps are it still allows the rear section to rotate a little so the tail pipe is able to move up and down to some extent. I look forward to an equal length pipe and have a feeling it will sound way better and also add better performance value

I will add you to the list! And compression clamps definitely suck! V-bands are where it’s at!

Thank you!! Yes, I agree. Got tired of the "angry bees" sound of the URD pipe, I feel like an idiot when flooring it making that angry noise but not going anywhere too fast. Im sure some people like that kind of noise but not me.
