One of these 4 is for stock! So maybe, just maybe it will be yours!

Will the 3rd gen y pipe allow you to keep the secondary cats or is it possible to get in that configuration? I need to stay California legal.

Does it tuck up above the frame crossmember in order to maintain ground clearance unlike the stock one?

Any dyno results from it yet? Want to make sure I don't sacrifice low end torque on my otherwise stock tacoma.

I’ll dyno it all at no cost. 2G and 3G. Just need an example in hand.

I am really confused why I just randomly stop getting notifications in this thread.

Anyways. @JustDSM I am interested in working something out

@Mach secondary cats are gone. It is tucked above the crossmember. Actually more clearance was available than the second gen offered. Low end torque has seemed to improve for everyone across the board. But without dyno numbers I’m not going to preach it as fact.

@906taco you likely received an alert but didn't open the thread so it didn't send you new notifications.

@906taco for those of us on your initial list of 10 x for the 3rd gen, will you be reaching out directly to button those up?

When everything is set on the 3rd I will be dropping the link here. Basically the same as the second gen release. I will also have stuff up on IG if you follow me there!

You guys have been keeping the wife and I on our toes lately! Been trying my hardest to keep stock, however it’s been a real challenge!

My local muffler shop fabricated an equal length y pipe and kept all 4 of my cats. I’m in California like you so I had no choice but do it this way. Here’s a sound clip of mine with the y pipe, black widow venom 250 muffler, vibrant resonator, and all 4 catsIMG_4082.jpg

There’s always a choice. However it involves the swapping of parts. I have shipped several second gen Y’s to Cali now. And maybe I shouldn’t even say that.

Where the 3rd gen Y falls is its length. It is too long to carry the velocity necessary. This hurts low end torque. The 3rd gen that has the one and only Y thus far has been claiming drastic improvements across the board. Excited to get more of them out there!
