Subaru Kicker Tweeters and 6x9 3-Way Replacement Speakers

Hey All,

I finally getting around to replacing my stock speakers. I love the write up here for installing the Subaru Kicker Tweeters by Black__cat.

My question is - has anyone done this upgrade with 3-way speakers? or will it cause it interference. Just trying to get a vibe on whether to purchase 3-way speakers or 2-way speakers?

Any help is appreciated.

I got three way 6x9 kicker cs and kicker cs 6.5’s with subaru tweets in my 15. No interference that I can hear. I also sound deadened the doors the best I could. For a non jbl it sounds a lot better. Just color match the tweeter wires. Work the pin slowly and shave down the connector to fit.

Yes I know the color match. I heard slow and steady and it should be fine. Rush and you can have a bad experience.

 

Shouldn’t be a problem.
