Subwoofer - again

I have a '09 SR5 AC with the fugliest subwoofer in the middle of my rear 2 seats. AFIK I do not have the extra special radio but I did get a X shaped SW with a blue round light in the middle of the X and a switch on SW to turn it and the light on and off. SW located between 2 rear seats on back wall.

What do I have? I'd like to take it, and the center console, out so I can put my golf clubs in the rear part of the cab.

DO all Tacos come with this SW? I've seen some pictures of '09s but they don't have my SW. WHat did I get and can I remove it?

I was just looking around at other forums and it looks like the sub and center console is standard in the '09. You should be able to remove it, but I'd imagine you'd be left with some mounting holes both on the back wall panel and underneath center console. I'd say it's not worth it at this point unless someone has a way of covering the holes back up.

 

Its not standard, you paid $430.00 for it.

In the bottom line price most likely. Gulf States lists it on their website as a $430 option. You may not have seen the cost broken out specifically, but it is included in some sort of option package above the bone stock Tacoma.
