Subwoofer for 2nd Gen Toyota Tacoma - MTX Thunderform Style - Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-8 $250

This is a custom built subwoofer cabinet and driver made for a late 2nd gen Toyota Tacoma (2012-2015). It's a perfect fit for the plastic storage bin behind the rear seat on the driver side just like the MTX Thunderform was. This cabinet is professionally built and carpeted (no gaps, staples or seems). The woofer is a Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-8 Punch Stage 3 Shallow Woofer. That makes it an 8" dual voice coil subwoofer. Each voice coil is 4 ohms. Yes in the picture of the cabinet in the truck there is a Pioneer woofer in there and it wasn't a super match to the amplifier so I upgraded to the Rockford Fosgate. The Rockford Fosgate woofer alone is $180. This a super sounding set up in the Tacoma. Please note I did drill a 2" hole (with a hole saw) though the side of the plastic bin for the speaker cable (also included). I'm not sure if this will fit the storage bin of a Gen 3 Tacoma, but I will find out soon.

Also available for another $50 is the Pioneer Amplifier I had mounted under the driver's seat. I also built a thin aluminum frame that attached to the rear bolts of the driver seat sandwiched between the seat and truck body. This frame held the amp in place so mounting the amp wouldn't require drilling into the floor of the truck. Not only that but it held on to the amp with some plastic spacers to lift the amp on the back edge so not to block the heat duct. Plus it puts the amp in far enough forward not to get kicked by rear passenger's feet and far back enough not to show when the drivers seat is all the way back. It's not as pretty as the sub but you can't really see it once it's under there. I took a pic while pulling everything out so please excuse the carpet that needed to be vacuumed.


Please no low ball offers. This is nice stuff and I will not give it away. I sold the Tacoma, otherwise this would still be in service.

Local pickup is preferred. This cabinet is heavy and I suspect the shipping would be unreasonable.
