Yes it can be used for adding rca and mirroring.

OK. I looked around a bit and see how to install the crux Harness and hook my phone up for screen mirroring with the A/v outputs and adapter. But how exactly do I connect a sub to the crux adapter?

You will need to splice into the crux harness with some sort of line output converter this will take signal from left & right side of the truck into a rca male plug. From there you will run rca to a amp and from the amp to the sub. I am not a stereo guru but i am quite electrically inclined.

If the speaker outputs are on the main plug on the headunit this will be the way to go, if the speakers are connected on a different plug i do not think the crux harness will work for you. I would need a picture of the back of the headunit and the wireing info.

a quick google showed me that the speaker wires are infact on a different plug. So the crux will not work. And you will have to splice to factory wire.

Thank you for all of your help! I think the most feasible option for me is the OEMaudio plus system even tho it is kind of pricey...
