So I just won a Sound ordnance B-8PT off the bay and was wondering:

Those of you that have slimline subs, do you think they are better behind the rear seat in a dc or under driver seat?

No opinions or experience with sub in either position?

I can't say I've EVER seen a sub under a seat before... BUT, in my experience, you want to be as far away from your sub as possible. The closer you are, the less chance the sound waves can propogate, and all you will hear is a 'hum' when you turn your speakers up. Low frequency waves are long, they need some room :) The absolute best place you can put it for your personal entertainment is the back right corner of the truck... this allows the bass to propogate the longest distance to get to you... and generally it will be much louder.

I have my slim 10 behind my rear seat and couldn't be happier. Most people don't guess I have a single ten there either, its much louder than a typical ten.

    This!

Further away the better. This is why when using audio processors and time correcting your speakers, it is generally a good idea to digitally "move" the sub back at least another 12-20". This is far more advanced than what your dealing with, but yes to keep it simple, put it in the back passenger side corner.

Behind back seat it is. I have seen in a lot of post that people are putting them under seat though. Thanks for the responses. Can't wait to get the sub. It is a slim powered sub btw.

People put them under the seat because they are so small and not very loud, that realistically it doesn't make that much of a difference in sound regardless of where its placed. But to achieve maximum performance, putting in the back would be the best.
