I have a 99 king cab tacoma and I am wanting to put in a subwoofer or 2. I dont want to rattle the mirrors off but just a little bit more thump without losing the back 2 seats. Any good ideas on where to put them?

Well your gonna want to do a 10 inch for thump. I put a 12 inch in my truck once and it rattled the shit out of stuff. Are you trying to save as much room as possible?

The 10" underseat sub, while not award winning sound, seems like it's a good compromise for you.

Decent bass with no cab space compromised.

If you know how to fiberglass you can put some 8s in the back cubbys. Or do what im thinking of doing. Besides that an underseat sub or small centre console box is only options without loosing the seats.

    Very true... I overlooked that.

Edit: unless you imported a Hilux.

Im running the rockville components up front and coaxials out back and another set of their tweeters (4 total) running off about 300rms amp power. As long as you dont rely on them for lower bass (i have my hpf at about 60htz) they sound pretty damn good for the price
