    I've had my truck for a month and want to lift it but I would love to know how long I will be driving before I have to start wrenching.

    I have an M3 that I have "beat the piss out of" for the last 125,000 miles. Oil, filter and brake changes - oh yeah did I mention tires?

    My thoughts are that some setups must be able to prove their design by the number of miles without replacing CV joints, u joints and/or axles.

    What's your set up?
    How many miles without any drive component failure?
    What failed?

    I understand where you are coming from...but imo your question has too many variables. Even if two people post the exact same lift configuration, they probably drive differently, in different areas of the country, etc. And all of that has a HUGE impact on what fails.

    Attribution also matters- You can blow out a CV axle without lifting...or go forever without needing to do it at all.

    My OME lift has about 150 miles on it and is good to go!!

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    I had OME on my 2000 for about 80,000 miles. The truck was supercharged, jumped, driven through woops (fast), and beaten on a regular basis. The OME suspension NEVER let me down, or shown signs of leakage. Never broke a CV, or anything.......One drive side mirror, I broke when I got too close to a drive thru menu...but Im pretty sure that wasnt due to the suspension.
