sucking air sound

I have a 2016 tacoma v6 with 500 miles on it. When i press the throttle i can hear an air sucking sound does anybody hear anything like this? It only does it for a brief second. but does it every time the throttle is pressed.

Helium in the tires is the culprit. I'd whine in a strange timbre too if I were a helium filled tire being driven by a force inducted motor.

 

Just as I suspected. I'd take it to the dealership, there's something very wrong with your truck. It'd be a good time for them to inspect your injectors as well, seems like some issues with those too.

 

Please report back with your findings. If there's a TSB for the sucking, 3rd genners should definitely get it resolved.

 

Are you sure the sucking sound is not coming from your wallet when you pas gas pumps?

Unfortunately the 2016 was designed to suck every time the gas pedal is depressed.

Wonder what is wrong with my f150 Ecoboost. It whistles and makes a venting noise while driving around. I also hear sucking. Been driving it for almost 3 years and it hasn't blew up yet. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I'll have to check out the f150 forums to see what's up

 

My trucking started the same thing last night at around 1800 miles. Guess I will take it to the dealership.. It only last a brief second when you give it gas and sounds like a loose vacuum line or something. Very annoying!!!!!! And no, its not a normal sound. This just started last night and my fathers 2017 doesn't make the noise (just yet). : -)
