I'll stick with my 3rd gen pro. No matter how bad it gets it will never be as big of a piece of shit as a GM product.

Depreciation is my main concern, and chevy is not what you pick for unless you like your vehicle value depreciating lol

Agreed, you have to be in some really shitty terrain to need both lockers, no way someone is gonna rock bash a new truck.

I got my cement PRO for $2k less than that. Besides that it's still GM quality. Great initially then all bets are off. The customer is also notoriously poor. One of the reasons I swore them off years ago.

I am pumper for the concept and the introduction of a small turbo diesel, finally!

Agreed completely from a macro perspective, but that doesn't mean as an enthusiast that we can't yearn for more. I wouldn't use 90% of the differentiating features on the ZR2 vs. my TRDOR on any regular basis. However, I would love to drive one with the Multimatic suspension and there is no arguing that you get a lot more engineering and R&D for the money.

GM is hungry to overcome their reputation of poor quality and shitty driving experience by actually designing and building a vehicle that enthusiast will love... Instead of resting on their laurels and capitalizing on a rightly earned, but fading reputation of build quality and longevity like Toyota.

Duralife brake rotors.....LOL. So because the rotors aren't branded the same, it must be inferior.

I bet the Chevy doesnt have a TRD Pro Grill, TRD Pro wheels, TRD Pro shift knob etc etc....how poorly equipped!

The Chevy does appear to be well equipped, but much of this is marketing hogwash.

I guess $40K is the new normal for a midsized pickup.

Would rather have two basic SR's for slightly more.

I really wanted to like the Colorado because of all the added creature comforts, but I can't get over the look. Maybe it looks better in person with wheels/tires. Plus I really like how Tacoma's not only hold their value, but also appear to be more reliable.
