So i'm driving some windy roads when of all a sudden it feels like my front right tire or brake locks up for about 2 seconds. Luckily I was only doing 25 and nothing bad happened but I pulled over immediately to check everything out on both sides and nothing was broken or bent. I had my wife turn the steering wheel a couple times while I looked at everything and I can't see anything wrong. Has anyone heard of this happening?

    My setup currenly is:

    -Bilstein 5100's w/ a .5" tower spacer
    -Light Racing Adjustable UCA's
    -Toytec Diff. Drop kit
    -Wheels-285/70/17 w/ 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers

Did you hear a beeping and feel a brake pulse similar to ABS ?

If so , sounds like a VSC engagement

Nope no brake pulse or beeping sound. I've had my ABS and traction control kick-in plenty of times (lived in Alaska, lots of snow and ice) and it felt nothing like that. Honestly it felt as if the brakes applied to just the front right tire for those 2 seconds. I drove home afterwards which was about a 45 min drive keeping it under 55 on the highway and I haven't had any issues. I'm baffled at what happened. I've read that Tacomas with a 3" lift require longer brake lines but thats only due to the amount of travel in the suspension right? Is it possible for the wheel bearing to have locked up for a second?

Yes there is sign of tire rub but it typically rubs when it's cranked all the way to the right and I come off a curb of a driveway. I've shaved off a good portion of the bumper so it doesn't rub but unfortunately at certain angles it still catches slightly. Hmm I see where your going with this though i suppose it's possible that the tire rubbed while I was turning. It's never happened going forward unless I hit a dip in the road, pot hole or speed bump however going into a left curve with a high-er bank on the right could have been enough to get my tire to catch.
