I do with my dad. When ever there is high tide and the water is good, we take Highway 6 South and get on to 288 South and head for freeport.

I think you'll like it here. The town square/town hall area always seems to have new major companies moving into the office spacing there. Sugar Land is booming with big major companies, and the area is just wonderful. For some though, it might create a false sense of security. I have a neighbor who leaves his garage door open almost all the time, and nothing has ever been stolen or no one has ever tried to enter the house. And housing is plenty and somewhat cheap. I went up to cali (San Diego) to visit a cousin of mine. the price of his house is a little over 500,000. For that money here, you can pretty much get something like a mini-mansion, its a damn big house.

Well I think the guy that went down there (my old boss a few years ago) bought his house in Sugarland, but I think the facility is between there n Houston. Hopefully I can go there. I am only 21 so I am not sure on a house yet Id like to but I would like to get an apartment down there for a year and get things figured out first.

Yeah even the areas where the apartments are, are pretty darn nice. If you plan on having a family later on. I'd definitely say sugar land is a great place for new families to start off. I moved to the sugar land/missouri city are when i was three, so i pretty much grew up here.

I remember how Highway 6 (major road here, not really a highway lol) just used to have pretty much nothing. No development but old neighborhoods and like one grocery store. It is amazing to see what it has become now.

Almost drove to Richmond today. Found a set of 265/70-17 toyo mts for $225. Thats about an hour and a half for me but thats a damn good price on 4 tires. Worried they will be in bad shape and I will waste a trip. Hmmm...

I don't live in Sugarland but I have family that does. My wife and I were there over the holidays. We really like the area. I saw a couple Tacos while I was there. Some nice ones...some stock ones.
