Made a little mistake in the torrential rain and quick turn into a friend's dark garage. Ended up denting the bottom panel of the access door and just in front of the right rear tire.

This all came about a week after a semi threw a rock up and cracked my windshield which I've also not yet fixed....brand new 2009 truck, I swear...

Anyway, I know the windshield will need fixing before the winter. As for the lower side panels where they stick out just a bit, some black paintfill will make it less noticeable, but it's still going to bug the shit out of me. Should I just buck up and take it to a bodyshop? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Tyler

Do you have some pictures of it? That'd be the easiest way for people to tell.

Sucks about it, I hate getting damage on any car especially a new one. But hey, now it's ready for a trail :D

    For reference...

The last two pics show how the dent has made the fender bend out a bit too, just slightly...

    That sucks man!
I'm guessing that will be well over 3k.
I had a small dent this past winter and it cost 1900. It was only about the size of a baseball in the back panel by the fender flair. Didn't look too bad to me

3 body pieces.... at worst the door may need replacement if you deny bondo (and please do deny it). It shouldn't be that bad. The bedside and flair doesn't look bad at all.

I had a small dent in the middle of my hood in my last truck and I took it to several shops and they wanted more money to fix it,spot prime it,then paint it, than it would have been to just buy a new hood and paint it to match (thats what I ended up doing).........good luck
