I'm looking for some cheap traction mats to for all three of my vehicles (Wife's Rav, son's charger, my Taco). These would rarely be used and when used, it would be snow/ice. I've survived 40 years in northern Minnesota without them, so I see them as a nicety, not a life or death tool, hence the cheap route. In fact I'd probably only use mine to help stuck vehicles in need. I've found some super cheap one's on Amazon such as these:
    https://www.amazon.com/Hopkins-1250...8&qid=1476801055&sr=1-1&keywords=traction+mat

But I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has experience with any.

Get a section of chain-link fence. It collapses up into a small bundle. When it gets torn-up, just throw it away.
