anyone have any suggestions for head and tail light replacements. I can’t decide if I want to keep my factory ones or not. upload_2018-8-7_21-35-46.jpg

    Welcome to TW!

No off the shelf product is going to beat OEM for quality and optical output. While aftermarket headlights may look cool to some, many aftermarket headlights end up leaking/fogging, hazing and have poor beam performance. If looking to change it up, I'd recommend the OEM smoked chrome Pro headlights, plus high powered bulbs and a standalone relayed harness if looking to increase output.

Or post in the lights forum, too.

We 1st gen guys don’t have a lot of good aftermarket options for headlights unless you go for a full retrofit.

A full retrofit is definitely going to be the most complete option, but you may also find something you like that is a bit less involved. The 1st gen Tacomas use H4 bulbs for the headlights, and our Xtreme PRO H4 LED Kit does a pretty great job of matching the OEM beam pattern, even in a reflector-style housing.

We had a great review from someone putting one of them in a '14 FJ Cruiser - it's not a Tacoma, to be fair, but it's still another Toyota H4 reflector housing, so that could give you an idea of how these could look.

Take a look: 2014 FJ Cruiser H4 LED Kit Review
