Suggestions for Off Road Lighting

Hey All -

Just keeping this one local.

I put in my order for an Avid Light Bar with three tabs for mounting lights yesterday so I have time to work this out.

My goal is to put out as much light as I can on dark desert roads and trails without spending too much money. I want more help finding the snakes that creep on the roads at night!

I would like to keep the lighting cost below $300 if that is possible. As I know zip about off road lighting any help would be appreciated.

I still need to wire all my stuff, but from testing around my little Rigid 10" single row bar is freak'n bright as hell lol. You can get decent HID light setups pretty cheap these days though, for the money that's probably your best bet

 

just bougt 2 hella 4000's for 200 with free shipping and half off the wiring harness from 4 wheel parts. They are not HID but they are gonna be plenty bright for me, and very reliable/durable. Plus eventually i will add two more.

 

1 compound word, that will soon be synonomous with the word "lights" here on Tw......
