Suggestions for securing RockyMounts to truck bed without drilling?

    I put some fork mounts on an oak 1 x 6. A little strip of conveyor belt on each end holds it in place snugly.

    I did this exact same thing with my old ‘90 Toyota pickup. I even rotated them slightly so I could get three in a row. I had a hard topper, so it was a tight squeeze.

    Dang I miss that pickup.

    That is a nice setup. How do you secure the piece of oak to the bed, to stop a thief from walking off with the piece of oak with bike attached?

    Cable lock through the frame to the factory tie down point by the tailgate?

    Smart and easy. He’s got a soft topper so I can see why security is an issue. Just put a leer cap on last month. Soooooo happy with it

    You could do what I sketched out but use that hole and the matching one across from it on the other side of the bed. Instead of those tie down points you don’t have.
