Suggestions for ski holders on outside of bed racks

I'm looking to strap my skis (x3) on the outside of my CBI (Prinsu) over bed rack. There is a lot of strap potential, but anyone know of a convenient ski 'rack' where I could easily just unleash/unsnap these from the outside of the bed rack? I'd like to save the bed of the truck for other things or I suppose I could just toss them in the back..... Any cool hardware that is made for this? Appreciate any suggestions!

Those look like they could work. I was thinking of something that would be more of a 3x3" shelf, but need to check these quick fists out a bit more. It seems it might take some effort to strap them on though. Appreciate the suggestion!

 

I wonder if a roof ski rack would work on the side?
