Suggestions on Progressive front shocks needed

    Looking for a set of Progressive front shocks. Adjustable would be good, but not necessary.

    Can either be just shocks and I'll pick out my own coils are assembled coilovers.

    I read about every manufacturers website and almost none make it clear which models are Progressive and which are Digressive.

    Not looking to spend a couple thousand on Kings. I picked up a jeep to a use off-road so this one won't be seeing as many trails as before

    AFAIK, Not a single shock manufacturer publishes a damping curve or any other metrics. I think you need to get tunable shocks and get them tuned if you want to know anything. And my experience is doesn’t matter whatsoever for a daily driver.

    2" Bilstein 5100 for the win. Bilstein recommends you keep the oem coils....

    Aren't Eibach Progressive? it's the only ones that I've found so far on a quick search.

    Also, @jboudreaux1965 , why do you want progressive? Digressive is usually better on the street as it gives a stiffer ride/less body roll.

    That sounds like sales/marketing language which might or not mean anything in an engineering sense.

    Well, as someone who works with a manufacturing and design engineer whose last job was working at Bilstein... he says digressive means digressive.

    Digressive, linear, or progressive are different valving types though. The OP doesn't want digressive. That rules out off the shelf Tacoma Bilstein shocks.

    If you or your engineer friend could send me a quantitative description of those terms specific to a set of real world shocks (eg a graph of the damping force as a function of shock velocity), I would find it interesting. I’ve never seen any published data on popular shock absorbers.
