You can get the one that has it all and don't have to hook up the turn signal. You'll never know it was there, I like the turn signal and it's really bright at night. If you change your mind you can always hook it up.

 

The blue did take some getting used to but I like it now, helps with glare.

 

I put these on my NB miata. Very nicely made.

 

I might be in for a non-blue full function kit.

Oh yeah you could definitely do that without the turn signal. Just don't wire it up. I've been running this mirror for the last couple years now without issues and even convinced them to make them for my Gladiator. The only thing I didn't hook up was my blind spot monitor only because I'm running a rear metal bumper that doesn't support my BSM. One thing I did notice on my Gladiator is that I did need resistors for the bsm to work correctly but I'm not sure if that's the case for our Tacoma. Maybe someone else that's bought these mirrors with the BSM can chime in. The owner of Suma performance is very easy to work with if you do have issues. I installed mine close to 2 years ago so I don't have any pics of the wiring but @Volksparts has posted plenty of good pictures (even though my positive and negative wires were different). But the added turn signal is probably my favorite part other than the reduced glare and no blind spots. I've had zero issues with any functions and didn't have to add resistors for the BSM, but I do have some installed in the rear for LED brake lights. I'll be swapping my tail lights soon so I'll update if removing the resistors messes with the BSM function

 

This was one of the first mods I did when I picked up the Tacoma . Definitely helps with the blind spot

 

Yeah I agree. Especially since I disabled bsm with the rear metal bumper it's so nice to be able to see those spots that the bsm is essentially seeing pretty much negating even needing bsm.

 

I just put the Blue tint, BSM, turn signal version on my truck today. I really like the wide angle aspect and the blue tint seems interesting. I'm still deciding if I like the tint. I thought I'd really likely turn signal in the mirror but its actually very distracting and when articulating traffic during a turn. But as previous posters have mentioned, I could just disconnect it so no harm no foul there. My one gripe is that there are smudges on the glass that I can't remove for the life of me. I tried everything to no avail. I took a very bright flash light to them and it appear there defects in either the glass or the film. I am going to take the truck to a detailer to see if it is somthing that can be rectified, and if not they are going back.
