This is why I bought the Heatshield; it fits snugly with no gaps.

    Very happy with its performance.

I ended up getting Intro-Tech Automotive Ultimate Reflector Car Sun Shade. I really liked the UVS100 but not the fitment. The Intro-tech cost $59.00 which is steep but it fits perfect and seems to be made about the same materials if not better then the UVS100. I can take pictures if anyone is interested on the sunshade fitment. I live in Arizona so it is worth it to me to keep the heat down.

I have a Heatshield for my CC. I like it. It fits well and rolls up with a nice little velcro closer. After you get the hang of it, its easy to get off and on.

Gonna get one for the Tacoma!

Hi and thanks for all the discussion on the sunshades.

I just purchased a new 2015 Tacoma to replace my 2004 Tacoma. I had been using a Intro-Tech TT59 sunshade in the 04 since I purchased it from the local Toyota dealership in 2004. Unfortunately, the Intro-Tech doesn't fit in the 2015 Tacoma. I stopped by the local dealer this morning and they don't have one that fits the 2015 Tacoma. They have one for 2005-2014 and it is way too big for the 2015 Tacoma. (I am wondering if it was miss-labeled, because it was about 10 inches too wide and 6 inches too tall.)

After looking on Amazon at the Heat Shield brand for the 2015 Tacoma, I decided to get some other input. The discussion on this thread helped me to order a Heat Shield for the 2015 Tacoma.

I have two (2) other Heat Shields for the Audi and Porsche. They fit perfectly in both cars. I hope the 2015 Tacoma Heat Shield fits just as well.

If anyone would like my 2004 Tacoma Intro-Tech TT59, please send me a PM. It is still in very good condition. Local pickup (Portland, Oregon) would be preferred. I hate to throw it away, so if you want it shipped, just pay for shipping and it is yours.

    Eric

I own (and USE) the SHADE from DashDesigns. It retracts to the passenger side and takes less than 2 seconds to deploy or stow. If you don't use the spring shades or the cardboard cutouts...they do no good.

I use a covercraft and have window tint. Great combination.

Does the Intro-Tech Automotive Ultimate Reflector Car Sun Shade require to flip down the sun visors to keep it in place?

It is accordian style and it does require the visors to stay in place.

After a year of using the Heatshield, wanted to give my "review". Fits great, and works great. My only complaint is the creases that form from rolling/unrolling it. I believe they will eventually crack. Only time will tell.

Its doing ok. I roll it up and it gets tossed on the floor in the back. The kids then trample it daily. Its taken its abuse.
