I live in my truck for work and pleasure and over the years I have become very attached to it. It is a 2008 Double Cab TRD Sport with 243,000 km on it. So far other than the regular maintenance stuff I have put in one wheel bearing, fixed the blower motor, the overhead compass and lower ball joints. I have considered trading it in for a 2015 but the reality is I just can't justify it to myself so I have decided to make this the summer of updates and breathe a little life into my truck to give it that new car feeling!

    1. Replace the seat fabric with new as it is looking a little tired, stained from the dog and the driver seat is starting to wear on the entry side.

    2. Install android double din with reverse camera and torque app.

    3. Install oem Roof Racks (I just lost one of the rubber strips yesterday and the dealer wants WAY to much for them).

    4. Instal LED bed lights with in cab switch.

    5. Plastidip OEM wheels gun metal.

    6. Install heated seats.

    7. Get the rear bumper and tailgate painted.

I will keep everyone updated as I do each mod, this weekend I intend to install the Roof Racks and LED bed lights. Honestly though, what other vehicle can you use like this and it ask for so little in return.

I assume "Powder Seeker" is the name of your truck?

Sorry, yes it is. I don't know why but my wife always gives my truck nick names and they start to stick. The last truck was 'Truck the Third'.
