I think that may be a little too soon.... I think that might be the weekend I go up with my dad's Yamaha Rhino and prerun some trails. I've got the owner of a property i'm doing work for coming on the 18th for a few days, so I need to leave time for that, and I havent 'wheeled a truck up there before so I want to prerun so I know what to expect before we all get there. That way we don't just start down a random trail and have it get really gnarly or something. Plus, if we've got some 2wd prerunner guys, I'll need to find some trails in advance that will accommodate them too.

How does that sound to you guys?

sounds good to me. Do the trd off road prerunners have lockers?

Awesome, sounds like you got the right idea RT, prerun the prerunners! I don't have a locker but I do have a nice tow rope!!! And boots to get grip while I PUSSSHHHHHH!!!!!

Or I can just tag along with someone, I'm very well versed with four wheeling and spotting, I've previously wheeled a heavily built 80 Series and FJ40 before that while living in the Bay Area and have experience on the Rubicon and Moab.

I just don't own a built truck now as times have changed for me. But I'm pretty flexible and just need a months notice as I make the schedule for my work and need to have it done 15 days before the start of the next month...

LOL. Sounds good man, judging from that last statement, you've got more wheeling experience than I do, and probably most of the guys coming. If you do ride along at some point, that would be great if you spotted for the guys that could use the help around any tough obstacles.
We should try to set a solid date asap, i think. I think i'll start a poll that has several weekends and everyone can check the ones that work with them, then the one that has the most votes is the one we'll plan on. :)

Yeah, I know! I've actually PMed about 10 other members about it, but only one of them (johnson8537) has responded, and he said he likes to stick to the street with his truck. If you find anyone that is OR/WA, feel free to PM them a link to this thread!!!

See my updated first post. It has a link to a thread I started for voting on what date works the best. As of right now, were planning on meeting at the Tillamook State Forest(TSF) at either Browns camp, or Jordans Creek for camping, 'wheeling and just a general good time.:D

I took a look online, Jordan's creek camp doesn't have water - Brown's does. Might be better for base camp at Brown, then wheel at one or the other depending on how populated things are.

sounds good jammdogg. Since I've never 'wheeled a truck(I have rode 4x4 quads though) in the TSF I'm going to prerun some trails next weekend with chickenmunga and another friend that lives in Tillamook, but it looks like we have yet to set a final date for the actual meet. Looks like it may get pushed all the way into August.

hey everyone, first post in this section, i live in junction city, about 10min. north of eugene. I'd be down for a run up the coast when you pic the dates for it. I work for a haying company so knowing when this is going to happen is KEY. 2 weeks or more would be nice to see if i can get the time off.

also its a bit aways but are any of you going to dunefest at the end of JULY?

I wouldn't miss Dunefest for anything! I'm going to be there riding and racing my quad, and checking out all the stuff on vendors row. We'll be camping with friends in the camp area right by vendors row.
