Summer road trip.

One of the main reasons I wanted to do this trip. I've never seen most of these places. I do love to travel, but the is so much to see.

 

I will be doing a similar trip next year starting from PA, heading to the Rockys and then staying south until home. I will be following your trip, sub'd! Have fun and be safe!

It's been a blast. I've seen and done more things than I could begin to post about. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

I gotta say this is a well put together trip! Nice job! My wife and I do sections every time we go on vacation, we did the pacific coast highway last fall from San Diego to the Redwoods, all of which as well as Tahoe and Yosemite are must sees. I'm sub'd, enjoy the ride and keep the pics coming!

 

London Bridge Lake Havasu City, AZ

 

I've done it from San Diego up to Monterey, so after that will be new for me. We're in San Diego now and should be in Oregon by the end of the week. Probably won't take any pics for a while as I'm in Southern California all the time.

Awesome pics. Been through most of the areas in your photos from Colorado back west. Beautiful as I remember. Loved Joshua tree. Are you doing the tram by Palm Springs?

Nope, I take a LOT of terrible pictures, and get a gem every now and then. If you snap enough pictures, a few of them are going to be good.

 

So we made it from San Diego up through Huntington Beach, Manhattan Beach, and on to Santa Barbara where we stayed with my in-laws. Left there yesterday and drove up to Hearst Castle, then on to San Jose. We skipped Monterey/Carmel, as I've done it before and my buddy said he'll make a different trip out of it.

We're heading to the Winchester Mystery House this morning, then going to a Nike Missile facility in Marin this afternoon. Staying in San Francisco tonight and heading to Yosemite tomorrow.

 

Also made reservations for Seattle for the 4th.
