Those look awesome, any renderings for a double cab 5t box?

I'd also update the first post to show these renderings, they look slick!

Just finishing up the renders on the DCSB Tacoma's. Here's a little teaser. Lot's of feedback on the previous renders on the long box version and with that, we made some changes that will be available going forward!

We hope everyone enjoyed the debut of what the long box configuration production model will look like! Now it’s time for the short box owners to rejoice! We’ve also taken into account the request for a shorter headache rack! We are looking at producing two separate height headboards. For those wanting to stay in line with just clearing the factory roof, and the taller version to clear those with roof racks. Shown here is the shorter version! Let us know what you think! Again, show casing just how modular our product is!

    From first to last.
    • Base Deck, ideal for full time canopies or full time camper units
    • Base Simple, includes a standard head board
    • Base Plus, includes head board, interior tie downs and side gates
    • Tourer, includes head board, tie downs, side gates and rear under tray boxes
    • Expedition, includes head board, tie downs, side gates, rear under tray boxes, centre rear drawer and centre front water tank
These are designed to be utilized with Toyota Tacoma’s, Jeep Gladiators, Ford Ranger’s, Chevy Colorado’s, GMC Canyon’s and Nissan Frontier’s! They measure in at 74” overall length (2” for the headboard, and 72” for the deck length), and 72” wide. Every flatbed will come with plug and play wiring, one piece fenders with mud flaps (standard option for 33” tires, with options to upgrade to accommodate up to 40” tires), back-up camera relocation, bed plug relocation, back-up sensor relocation and trailer connector relocation.

Any questions? Send us a DM and we’ll be happy to answer! Pricing will be live shortly!

Looks way more serious on an AC.

Definitely a serious usable real state upgrade at 7ft of deck length on ACLB/DCLB trucks! Unfortunately for the DCSB trucks, this is longest we're going to go. Still a major upgrade! Once we are done with the production model, show casing live photos will make a impressionable difference!

Absolutely, the Gen 2’s are identical, with the only difference being the electrical. Once we start accepting orders for the trays, we can process one for the Gen 2 just as easily.

After the great feedback on the ACLB, and DCSB model Tacoma’s, we present the DCLB version. Using the same Tray/Flatbed as the ACLB model. As this is a very common platform for many Tacoma owners; we hope this helps put the reality in view with just how much more usable space is available with our 7ft flatbed on these model Tacoma’s! As seen in previous posts, we are show casing just how modular our product is!

    From first to last.
    • Base Deck, ideal for full time canopies or full time camper units
    • Base Simple, includes a standard head board

These are designed to be utilized with Toyota Tacoma’s, Ford Ranger’s, Chevy Colorado’s, GMC Canyon’s and Nissan Frontier’s! They measure in at 86” overall length (2” for the headboard, and 84” for the deck length), and 72” wide. Every flatbed will come with plug and play wiring, one piece fenders with mud flaps (standard option for 33” tires, with options to upgrade to accommodate up to 40” tires), back-up camera relocation, bed plug relocation, back-up sensor relocation and trailer connector relocation.

We can always add these as an additional option to our product line! I think these are great as well! Wide enough to carry an ATV or mount a Camper as seen there, and seriously upgrading storage space!

So due to the nature of these trucks with their fuel system, requiring the 3 lines; fuel filler tube, vent tube and charcoal filter tube, we found modifying the factory filler was the solution. This retains the factory fuel filler cap and doesn't affect the computer. If you don't want to modify your existing one, we can supply a complete one.

See the picture for the mounting location.

Looks great! Do you have any shots of the mount to the six stock bed mounting locations? Are you all supplying a subframe or are the mounts built into the underside of the tray? Just curious cause as the tray flexes, I don't want it to crack the aluminum mounts.

Oh and I have been bedless for a while...i need a flatbed! :)

Excellent question! So the mounts are separate, and do utilize the factory bed mounts. So when flexing the frame, there’s no cracking. This way it also allows to mass produce the decks them selves, and you as the customer, all you have to do is drill the holes to line up the bolts from the brackets to the deck. Super easy since aluminum is quite easy to drill through!

Once those pictures are available, I’ll post them up. I do believe they will be the same for both SB and LB trucks, just spread out differently of course.

As for being bed less, we would be happy to outfit you with one!

I hope this answers your question :)

This is awesome! I love the functionality of flat decks and the fact that it will be made in Canada has pretty much sold me! When do you expect to be able to ship them? Also where abouts is your shop located? I'm in the Yukon so shipping is always a challenge for me!

We can ship anywhere! We’re located in Alberta, so you’re not incredibly far! With our previous field, we have experience shipping throughout North America! We’re still working on the fine details, with our production model wrapping up soon. A lot of thought has gone into it, and we’re excited to present it!

We’re looking at starting to take orders mid to late March. A few delays, but we’re almost there. We’ll post the update here, as well as our social links. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram @summitexpeditiontrucks for more images and designs!
