The fit looks great. It's interesting that Toyota lists the "width" of the 3rd gen at around 74"-75" and yet this 72" tray even hangs out a tiny bit from the body (based off the picture). I wonder if the 74-75" measurement includes the mirrors.

So the measurement they have is the fender flairs, outside to outside. That’s why it’s 74-75”.

When are we getting a detailed overview of the canopies?

We're still ironing them out. They are a challenge to say the least. First one went together well, but we decided to make a bunch of revisions. Hoping to have the revised version finished up soon.

Once we have it completed I'll post up more photos here. Unfortunately, due to the extreme demand for our canopies, new canopy orders are now nearly pushed as far as 2024!

Ahhh, the joys of R&D. It’s cool seeing the updates/changes. (It would be cool to see some of the updates and ideas) Plus, I think it helps folks start to understand just how much work goes into the design and engineering of things. :)

Check out the latest feature of Summit Expedition Trucks in Tread Magazine! No, it's not a Toyota, but it certainly suits this Frontier perfectly!

@Ralf I was looking at your front page and had a question about how you got those 3d models of the truck?

Hey Ralf have you consider selling a quarter orhalf canopy toolbox for the bed? Something like this but fullwidth, with full wing canopy style doors.

Ya while I would prefer a full bed replacement down the line, a box for the factory bed would be the first I'd ever seen here or in Australia and i bet they would sell well I've almost bought the toolrig box in the picture a few times but the fact the doors aren't gullwing to prevent water ingress kills me. also if the box could mount to maybe a slide drawer that filled the gap between oem bedsides and your trays, you could continue with the modularity you already have so when someone gets a tray they could place the toolbox onto the tray.

Unfortunately we don't build anything for the factory box trucks. The gull wing would be super short in this case as well.

Cool idea and concept, but not in our wheel house. Friends of ours at Yucca Pak will be working on more factory box related accessories once they get through the camper builds.

Sorry we couldn't help on this one.

Man these trays look so good! One day I’ll put one on my Tacoma. And pictures of the tray and half canopy that’s powder coated black?

FYI: Summit Expedition Trucks lists their drawer as for sale, but in reality they will not sell it separately - you have to also purchase one of their flatbeds.

    https://setoverland.com/drawer-trundle-drawer/

    Website is extremely misleading.
