sun visor fix

So after starting a new thread without much luck member Shaeff sent me to this thread. After reading down this old thread the best fix seems to be what is described in this video. I think I’ll tackle it, no big loss if I screw it up. A new visor is apparently $100.

 

Anyone used a sr visor without mirror and lights and extension to replace the loaded sport version.
Seems they would be way lighter?
I don’t care about the extras.

 

YMMV but I had luck with these $23 replacements from Amazon. My 2012 OEM pax side visor failed in 2021, and OEM driver side failed in 2023. The quality isn't as good as OEM but def good enough. Do not put anything in the driver card sleeve. They do not have lights, only mirrors.

That’s cheap enough as long as they stay up.

 

I bought these too recently on Prime day and they were $18 shipped. Pleasantly surprised with how good they are.

 

got my pair of duplicate same as oem on AMAZON for $40-45, just no light!

 

It was a Camry but my friend had this issue, I suggested to use Velcro to keep it up when he's not using it. So far so good
