Could possibly be that they only came on certain ones with say the convenience package or something??!! Don't know just throwing it out as a possibility.

I took them off and used JB Weld let it dry over night, then sanded it down until the base slid over it tight and so far did the trick. The duct tape gets loose fast, I feel the JB Weld will last a lot longer. Also used it on the clip sanded it until it fit tight and seems to be doing great.

Sounds great! I may give that a try myself. I bought some clips (and the visors in case the ones I got from the Corolla don't fit) at the wrecking yard out of a '95 4Runner. I just haven't gotten around to installing them yet plus I need to paint them to match my interior.

Randywave1 what part of the clip did you put tha JB Weld on? Did you put it on the inside to tighten it up more or what?
I tried installing the clips I got from the '95 4Runner at the wrecking yard, but they're a little different than the ones on my '02 Taco! They're a little smaller than mine therefore the screw holes don't quite line up! That's why I'm inquiring about your JB Weld trick.

Nothing major planned, this is my daily driver. - replaced stock tires with Cooper AT3s - added Husky WeatherBeater floor mats - installed Access Original bed cover - installed Gentex 453 mirror and the included external temp sensor, also has Homelink and auto-dim - installed ImMrYo mirror bracket - hose clamp mod and washer mod to secure tailgate, with a GateKeeper lock installed over the hose clamp - replaced stock reverse lights with Philips Halogen 30w from Home Depot GY6.35 base
our (former) 2006 Lexus GX470 had sun visors which slid along the metal shaft, loved them.

I took the end piece off the visor rod and put the JB Weld on it left it sit over night then sanded it down until it fit over the end piece and then put it on the end rod where it meets the clip just below the window and did the same sanded it until it snap into the clip. Seems to be holding up well, it's ben raining a lot and haven't had to use the visor much lately. Hope this helps.

Thanks randywave1! I'll give that a try! That's whenever I can get to a store to buy the JB Weld when all this covid crap clears up anyway!

I believe it will be soon, our restaurants and beaches are started to open, still must stay six feet from others. Still and all we live in a rural area on the Coast of Oregon. Not as much population as other area's. Good luck!

Yeah I live in Dallas County, Texas there's over 6,000 cases here and growing! We're getting approx. 250 new cases a day, it seems to have plateaued at that amount the last week or so! My uncle has been in a nursing home for 5 or 6 years now, he's had numerous health issues, both of his legs have been amputated since being in various nursing home facilities! He was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday with pneumonia in both lungs and he also had a heart attack! They tested him for covid, which it it takes 3 days to get the results back! Unfortunately he passed away early yesterday morning! So now we're planning his funeral. Hopefully we'll get the covid test results back tomorrow, no doubt it'll probably be positive!

Wow hearing that makes me feel double lucky we live were our county has 28 cases and that was in sutter creek rehabilitation facility. The inmate that had covid-19 was sent down from Salem area. We would have had no cases at all except for him being relocated here.

Wow! I wish we were that lucky! There's a federal prison hospital over close to Fort Worth that has something like 200-300 cases according to what the local news said the other day! Tarrant County (which is the county Fort Worth is in] has something over 4,000 cases!
