I'd rather have weld ons but I couldn't pass up 400$ for mobtown bolt ons.
    That's like half price!
I made them look brand new also...
    Then I went wheeling:bananadead:

    That's it? :D that's nothing!

I do have to get my rocker fixed, I hit it f'in HARD so the panel is getting a little rusty. Want to do it soon. Was going to do it a while ago but never got around to it and now I've just been busy :(

If I buy that 1st gen I could use that to get to and from work for a week :D Saw it driving around town actually, so it DOES move under its own power! Might call the guy tonight, he's my neighbor it's like 5 houses down.

I have bolt on, they're nice and also....once they rust a bit, you can take them off to strip and repaint easier than if they're rusted.

This, fo-sho. I got SOS bolt on's, bare metal with kickouts. Apparently, their most popular choice. @tacobell007 works with them I think.

These frames won't fail other than the rot. In which case, they could try to screw you but, chances are they won't. With how much bad publicity there is due to the frames rotting already, for them to reject a warranty for other reasons and say "tough crap, not my problem", not a good look for 'yota.

My SOS were I think 600, maybe 650 shipped? Not too bad. I'd rather weld on's but I know if I ever need to take mine off to paint, it's a lot easier to deal with than leaving them on the truck.

I wish I had a jeep. They're not amazing but, god damn 150 bucks for sliders. Everything is so cheap for jeeps.

Edit: No I don't wish I had a jeep. That was dumb. Also. This isn't the NE BS thread. Woops.

Glad to see Toyota never fixed this from the 2nd gens.
"Hey you know that part of the frame that always rots out that we have a huge recall program on?"
    - Yes....
"Lets setup the AC drain to make sure the area is always wet"

I think I'll be changing out the other 3 TPMS stems to 3/4" rubber shorties also.

Shit my 98 Landcruiser has the same issue. Mine actually drips right on the pass side from sway bar clamp. Fortunately I extended the drain tube to dump below the frame.
