I just have to ask this question....... how far in are you guys going to take the prius and the driver (with her apparent delusions of grandeur) up the trail before you just turn to her and say "please just turn around now ....we are moving on without you knowing you will not only get stuck but AAA isn't qualified for this? How many times before she gets stuck and you waste hours of time just trying to get her out before you guys say "fuck it" and leave her to her own Devices? I am just asking.....I mean I know the I have full faith that @Thezinz will brave the trail and make it because he has been there before, came out the other side, and is not only smarter, but has the vehicle (even if it is stock) that knows it can do it. I wouldn't do that trail with my wife's AWD highlander let alone a prius. And I know the highlander is more capable.

Start her at the front, she gets one recover from the person in front and then moves back a position, if she gets stuck at the back she's on her own

    Glad I'm not going now.
    Prius, really?
If I was leading I'd say not happening period.

I have a better chance of taking my flatbed down that trail full a 80,000 lbs and 50 feet long and 13'6" high!

If this actually happens and y'all allow it your going to have an agonizingly long ass day.

This is literally the definition of the words stupid, foolish, and irresponsible.

Common sense goes a long way but I always forget there is nothing common about sense.

This would be cool to watch at a off-road park where there are plenty of ways to get around a stuck vehicle and if it gets trashed they can drag it out at the owners expense of course.

So not only will you screw up your trail ride but you might screw up other peoples as well which in turn will make us Tacoma people look bad.

What if a bunch of jeeps did the same thing and brought out some idiot in a Miata on the trail.

I get the fact that anything can go wrong with any vehicle but come on.....a prius.

Sorry for the rant but this is ridiculous.

Best course is to not engage with her. She’s out seeking negative attention and loves to immediately take “you shouldn’t have a Prius here” as being racist or sexist.
It’s not our ride. We are just going along with the Facebook group Chess and I went out with last week. Good group and they all share the same sentiments about this Prius side show. They are doing north to south, which is the opposite of how we ran it in Sept. The trail to the pond in that direction was easy and a Prius has a shot in winter when there isn’t water to cross. The main guy running the group already said that 33s, and hard recovery points are mandatory for doing the rocky stuff.

She’s a dumb kid out looking for attention. She found a way to get negative attention by trolling Jeep guys and then enjoys playing the racist/sexist card when people tell her to fuck off. Whoever goes, be pleasant but don’t engage. She lives for when people react like what you wrote above.

Still seems irresponsible to even allow a prius regardless of the driver. Like you said it's their group, but having seen pictures of that trail a responsible trail leader would not let that idiot anywhere near the run.

That was my assessment as well. She will learn through her own actions. It is very difficult not to follow the "never leave a man down" code of trail riding though.

People have tried to convince her its not a good idea. I mean, this is the logic your dealing with; her post in fb; names removed for privacy. If you care enough to know who she is, join the group in fb.

If I was leading the run that would be a hard no for me. Sorry, you're shits going to get wrecked, you're going to need to get recovered possibly putting the safety of others in jeopardy, or your vehicle is going to leak all its fluids all over the trail resulting in it being shit down.

If you're bombing around logging roads or through the Green Mountain National forest trails, fine I guess. But taking that on a trail that requires 4lo and has rock crawling/ big ass mud puddles is straight irresponsible of both her and the group leading the run. Not to sound holyer than thou, I've done my share of stupid shit but goddam that's straight special needs short bus retarded (no offense intended towards anyone with an actual mental disability, that dumbass is really bringing people with a legitimate disability down...).

Yeah unfortunately we're just along for the ride, we have no authority on whether she's allowed or not. However people have made it clear it's a bad idea...

Hey guys, Matt said either @BadDNA or @mabepossibly had a chart showing how to use a Baofeng to communicate with 2 way radios, is that right? THis group runs 2 ways and will say like "Go to channel 5" and I have no idea how to do that lol

Bottom line is if she shows up, it a public road and nobody can stop her from doing anything. It’s going to be a freak show distraction starting off but that trail will weed her out pretty fast.

Personally, I’m a shit stirrer and will get a kick out of telling her she need to go for it to shut these dudes up. I’m just going to make sure I’m ahead of her in line and I would not hook up to her to drag the car out. If I try to pull her out and the non recovery point on her bumper pulls the front clip off her car, I don’t want to be the subject of a small claims court saying I did $5k in damage.
