It will probably keep going down, but the logistics of shipping will be more complicated.

Only you and he know the status of the arrangement, and he's not here, so anything more on the physical product would be great. Feedback on the prototype he sold, pics of the one he owns, him registering and posting here, etc.

It is worth mentioning again, that I am being as transparent as I can be. I am open to answering all questions. I am not trying to screw anyone over or take any ones money, and proof of that is that I am also participating in this GB.

The problem is that no one on the internet knows that if are a dog. You saying that you are in this group buy is worth very little. I'm not saying you are trying to scam people but people with more to lose have taken large amounts of money then ghosted. 20 x $500 is $10000, I could have a lot of fun with a that.

That's fair. If you, and any other members have any recommendations for a payment option that would make everyone feel a little more confident I'm all ears.

 

there is not a good payment option. he is going to have to have the money to pay for them before they will be shipped from China. paypal has a deadline on how long you have to dispute i think its 1 month but I'm not sure. It will take 2 to 3 months to get the tents

 

Update: So realistically, we have close to 30 people interested. Assuming we have 30 people commit this thing should be cheaper than we originally anticipated. I have asked my contact to sign on.

I am on board with every ones hesitation and skepticism. Totally understandable. Until he registers to answer questions nothing will continue and I will not be asking of any payment.

He did ask if some people could help with shipping. I feel @Texoma has volunteered to help with Texas. I will also be assisting him if he needs more help. My contact is in California so I'm sure that section of the country can volunteer someone or make the trip to him.
As far as every one else, I'm sure we can work something out. This is a Group buy, so lets be a group and help each other out.

Skepticism and hesitation is normal, but lets keep it tactful.
