So if this doesn’t work are we not able to pay the manufacture themselves through PayPal individually? I believe we would be covered by the PayPal protections of doing so.

 

No because they don't accept paypal.

 

Well fuck! Paypal just called and said in cases like this, they have to hold 100% of the money until the items are delivered. Being we can't have a delivery if we don't have the money available to use, I will be refunding everyone's money, unless someone has around 20k to front the order with Sunday Campers. With that said, this group buy might be dead in the water.

The only other option is to send money directly to a private bank account and do the sale from there. I just don't know how many people will do that without the paypal protection. Its really up to everyone purchasing what they want to do.

 

It is worth mentioning, since the manufacturer doesnt accept paypal, the money that was going to be sent to the paypal account was going to be sent to either @doclocos or I's bank account (which we would make a separate one). As far as I am concerned this step was going to happen. If we continue, we just skip paypal. I am down to risk my money.

 

That is very true. I'm in the process of issuing everyones refund, with the exception of east coast shipping. I'll wait til the last minute to refund that if they don't want to continue.

 

So guys, are you in or out? Do we continue?
