If the escrow is that cheap, well go for it. If that is what is going to make this happen then so be it. I'm fucking committed to this thing.

Cause it would be about 1/3 of the price of a CVT. Unless you can get that big of a discount with them. None of the RTT GB's I've seen are that generous.

Can someone get with PayPal and find out the trigger number? Maybe a couple more people helping in the PayPal end? Trusted sales. Then the 4 or 5 PayPal accounts withdraw and check out to one person who does the sale with Sunday?

This way protections are still in place and maybe we avoid these ridiculous triggers?

Does that make sense? Too much of a hassle?

I think we should try and work with Smittybilt or 4wheel and try to get the Smittybilt tent on group buy

I'm game for a tent GB regardless of brand. If we stay around this price range I'm happy. I mean we have how many that were in, organizing a buy with a reputable company will be easy I think.

But then if something happens and you want your money back, the random person that accepted your payment is f*ed out of the money. They would have to try to get the money back from whoever ends up collecting all the funds after PayPal yanks the money from their checking account and sends it back to you without even asking a question.

Did I mention how much I hate PayPal. There are other ways to send money. It sounds like we will just have to accept the risks and move on from PayPal.

With the number of buyers we have, we certainly have some kind of buying power. I'd be interested to see what kind of numbers Geo and Smittybilt would agree to. Since we're pretty much back at square one, it couldn't hurt.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
Smittybilt does not offer an annex for the larger (XL) tent, only for the smaller one and it does not enclose the ladder. One of the main reasons I did not buy from them.

The geo does, but their prices are higher, but price does include an annex. An earlier post showed them offering discounts for groups, so maybe for our group it would be lower.
