Sundog's Work/Play Build

2017 DCSB OR with Auto. My 8yr old son got to pick the colour. I'm lucky they don't have green.

Ordered in Sept, arrived in 6 weeks. The truck will be used for work thru the weekdays, and for wheeling and camping on weekends & holidays.

The day it arrived!

First weekend!

Ordered an Icon Stage 4 suspension with 3-leaf AAL, then found a deal (no I didn't) on some 4Runner TRD Pro wheels and wrapped them in General Grabber AT2's at 285/70/17. (also no deal)
I rubbed them all the way to Home Depot and bought a grinder.
Then I rubbed them all the way home and performed my very first BMC.
This was ugly. (hence, no pic)

First road trip!

Plan was to have a rack fabbed up at a local shop with a good rep, and wanted to have some custom tool boxes made, but ended up ordering some 4' Westin Brute side tool boxes in satin black deck plate. They are really ugly, but functional, so whatever...

Fabbing pics!

While in the shop, I decided to up my budget and get some armour and rock sliders. This time I did get a deal!!


The shop also spruced up my BMC, and did an excellent job!


So, off to work I went!


Went down to the skate shop and bought some grip tape for my sliders... My shins are grateful.



That's all for now, but will be doing a trip to California over the Xmas Break and will update this thread with travel pics!
