Those tablet dashes look nice! Not really my style but they are cool!

I was planning on buying a metra dash kit
Then cutting into it and recessing it with some abs plastics and stoof then making the mold of the back of the tablet for the tablet to sit in then directly behind the "mold" will be the radio. I just worked 12 hours and have been up since 2 am so that might not have come out in a easy to comprehend way

Im not going through the hole audison route im litterally making the dash kit hold a tablet infront of the radio and bluetoothing it. Or maybe aux cording it depending on how it all looks. Also would probably hardwire a charger cord in behind the dash.

I have seen setups that people put a single din inside the dash and have the tablet mounted to hide it. Then the tablet can be removed and have access to the headunit. Im sure there are many ways to get it done...

    Haha. Installed...yes tuned... he'll no.

I'm actually experiencingredients a problem with the sound processor. It was working amazing and then no sound from my mids, and if I go to a different preset then no sound.

So I got that going for me..

Got the sound coming out of the door speakers but nothing from my subs. I am calling precision power today to see if they can offer any help with the matter.

I have a base line tune. Frequencies are set close but need to be tweaked a bit. They sound very good, but Im going for amazeballz!

    Installed... not working...

I called precision power today and talked to tech support.. he said it sounded like a defective unit due to the behavior of the device. I ordered from Amazon so we will see what happens.

I got a damaged product.. it said it was scratched on the side so it was about $40 off. About to buy a new one for just under $200.

Are you SOL since it was a scratch and dent unit? Have you tried switching the subs to a different output channel that was working for your speakers? or do you have the sub output channels linked to an input? I'm sure their tech support went through this but its worth a shot instead of forking out for a new one.

No i processed a return with Amazon and they are refunding my money.
The sound is wired correctly, however the issue is that when setting up the DSP sometimes the sub channel will play, and most of the time it does not. Im hoping that the new unit will not have this issue. Im considering un/re installing the software on my PC just to get a good clean start!

So i figured out that my sub amp was the problem... The remote gain control wire was pulled tight and i believe that it may have messed up the port for the remote. I tested the RCA cables and they work, so that makes it the amp and thought it was the RCA inputs. Then I pulled out the remote gain wire the subs played but with very low power. If the remote wire is halfway plugged in then the subs play with full power but the remote does not work, all the way in and no power...
Right now i have a 600w amp powering the subs. The remote wire works fine so that tells me the problem is with the amp and the remote wire port.
