well my wife left the sunglasses holder door open and when i hopped my big ass in the truck this morning i caught the door right in the forehead.i wish it ended there.the pain i can take and it really woke me up let me tell you.i snapped the pin on the left side off.the right side appears to be how you get this door off,by sliding it back.theres not enough of the pin i snapped off left in the console to pull it out.if i take a small punch can i tap that through, buy a new door and replace it?i cant be the only guy this has happened to ,right?by the way what would be the best way to go about getting one of those doors?

Sorry man, but I don't think you can get the door by itself. Your best bet would be eBay because the dealer is going to charge about $1000 for the whole unit. DIY repair looks like the best option, try plastic welding the pin back on.

Oh man, I broke mine the very first day I had my truck. I went to the dealer and they wanted $240.00 for a hole new console (no temp, I have an SR-5). The parts manager replaced it under warrenty for me, one of the few time a dealership has not tried to steal me blind! Hope you find what you need on E-bay.

+1 for a junk yard- Or try to catch someone with a recently wrecked rig on here and try to get them to part you out.

like others have said, i would totally go to the junkyard first, especially since you don't need it right away.
