Im having trouble with the rims, I rushed into buying them w/o researching them since they were so cheap. They are advertised for the 2nd gen Tacoma but the front wheels are WAY to close to the caliper. I need to run a spacer on them but I just found out they are not hubcentric, they are lugcentric, I dont know if I should try to get the hubcentric rings and mount it on hubcentric spacers or just mount them on lug centric spacers.

I almost just want to sell them and get the right ones but Ive wasted over $500 on a $240 set of wheels. :censored::frusty:

Yeah, The wheels I ordered are 16s, and are advertised to fit 2nd gen Tacos. They are lugcentric, not hubcentric.

From what Ive read, hubcentric is the way to go since they balance well and are not prone to vibrations like lugcentrics, you can buy rings that fit behind the wheel that will make them hubcentric.

What Im trying to figure out and decide is do I get lugcentric spacers and hope these wheels dont have bad vibes

Or, should I try to get the hubcentric rings and get hubcentric spacers as well, which I am not sure is possible.

Honestly your better off selling them and getting some that are hub centric cuz it seems like its a pain already

Yeah I might have to take the hit and just do that, oh well, you live and you learn.

As soon as I get everything in the mail my friend. I might be coming down this weekend to get my bumper fabbed up at Sick Nicks, Hiatt was going to talk to him for me and confirm the date but am not sure yet, I am thinking it'll be either this or next weekend. I probably wont have time to go back down there anytime soon after that. We'll see how it goes.

I am not 100% he does motor mounts but Im going to talk to him about it while Im down there. I am assuming it'll be no bid deal for him seeing all the stuff he has caged up. I got a base quote of $600 for my bumper, and Ill see where it goes from there once Im down there and if I decide to change or tweak things a bit.

The TC LCA's are ridoncolous. So damn beefy. I am going to be shocked as hell if I ever damage one. Very heavy too.
