I remember last time I went to citgo they had ethanol in it.

I think all gas now has 10% ethanol, they burn cleaner and put out less carbon monoxide...

I live in Ohio. For some reason I believe that Ohio has a mandate on a minume of 10% ethenol in the fuel; as well as oxengenating in the winter months. I could be wrong about the ethenol, but like I said for some reson that sticks in my mind. I know my MPG drops a couple MPG in the winter. Don't know if that is mainly attributed to the oxenginating of the fuel, or the fact that the air is colder and more dence, giving the engine more oxenge per "breathe"causing the engine/computer to adjust the air/fuel mix.

Seems really odd to me that if we are mixing in ethenol to help with pollution (which is a main reson for it) that it is something that actually lowers our MPG, which would increase pollution. At least when I think about it logically, that's what's happening.

I have only use SHEETZ gas once or twice in a pinch. Thier gas is compleat crap and very bad for your engine. I don't remember how much my milage dropped but it was deffiantly notacable. A friend who races "funny cars" told me to never use their gas because the sulfer content is too high...still within U.S. standords, but much higher then other gas companies. This was about 10 years ago, things may have changed, I don't know. But I guess him and some of his friends did chemical analisis on different gasses. Oh and no, they don't use street gas in their cars...they use really high octain, and maybe even leaded fuel too. Landmark in Strongsville Ohio, still sells leaded gas, but the shit is like 5/6 bucks a gallon and it's indended just for race vehical consumtion.

Also, BP gas is shit gas too. I never had good results with it. about 12/13 years ago I have a car that was a lemon, bought new. I had to suie. It was a V.W. (please don't give me shit about it, that's why I have a Toyota now). Anyways, the manufacture's rep, who became a mortal enemie of mine, asked what gas I used and I told him mainly Shell. He said ok, good. He asked if I ever used BP, saying that he was an exectutive with them for many years and to never use that gas because it is bad gas and can do bad things to your engine, like what I was experiencing. But since I did not use BP, something else was the cause.

Just some insite for people about things I have experienced or have been told. :)

All I use is ULTRA 94 , I get better mileage , and much better performance , I tried to use regular for the first 3 months that I had my 2011 SLT, it pinged and had a lot less power, in my owners manual it say that premium was use to test for mileage , however the truck will run on regular, I may still be paying a little more , but its not very much after you make the mileage adjustment , to me its well worth maybe 5 cents more a gallon , if its that much after you do the math.
