My recently acquired 2000 V6 5-speed 4x4 Ext. cab Limited came with a power sunroof. All good except the thing automatically closes from the tip up position when I remove the key and open the door. Sheesh, I'd like it to stay open to let the heat out on hot days, anyone know if that feature can be disabled?

Power Sunroof!? That's definitely not OEM. 90% of us don't even have a sunroof. It was a very rare option, and the OEM Toyota ones were manual not power.

It's probably tied into an aftermarket security system. I would check behind the driver side kick panel for various black boxes and see if you can find any labels.
